Brimketill

Brimketill is a natural rock pool located on the coast of Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland. The pool is formed by the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by jagged volcanic rocks. According to Icelandic folklore, Brimketill was the dwelling place of a giant who terrorized nearby villages. Today, visitors can view the impressive waves crashing against the rocks and even take a dip in the pool if conditions permit.
